Chapter U Rider Education

Chapater U now has a Pending Rider Educator. Nate Clutter has accepted the pending positition of Rider Educator. Nate has many years and miles of riding experience and will be an asset to the rider education of our chapter. Education is an important part of GWRRA and the Levels Program is a vital part of that education. Chapter U would like to see all of their members involved in the Levels Pprogram to the degree they feel comfortable. We have included information about the Levels Program below for your information:

Level I

Safety by Commitment

(Safe Rider Program)

Comit to being a Safe Rider/Co-Rider and display patches as on an outward sighn.

 

$6.00 per participant

One Time Join (no yearly renewal fee)

Recieve "Safe Miles" patch, Rider and/or Co-Rider Rocker & mileage pin.

Level II

Safety by Education

(Tour Rider Program)

Must be current GWRRA member, enrolled in Level I.

RIDER must have a current Motorcycle License or Endorsement.

RIDER must have completed a Motorcycle Safety Foundation Course (ERC or RSS), USCC or GWRRA two-up, Trailering, or Trike Course, within last two years.

CO-Rider must have completed any of the above, or have attended a Co-Rider Seminar within the last two years.

$5.00 per participant and $2.00 yearly renewal (renew at your highest level)

Recieve Red Triangle Patch signifying Level II participant.

Level III

Safety by Preparedness

(Certified Tour Rider Program)

Must be Current GWRRA member, enrolled in Level II.

RIDER or CO-Rider must have current CPR or First Aid Card

RIDER or CO-RIDER must wear protective riding apparel.

RIDER must carry First Aid Kit on motorcycle.

$4.00 per participant and $2.00 yearly renewal (renew at your highest level)

Recieve Certified Tour Rider or Co-Rider patch.

Level IV

Safety by Enhanced Preparedness and Experience.

( Master Tour Rider Program)

Must be current GWRRA member, enrolled in Level III for at least one year.

Must have driven (ridden for C0-Rider) at least 25,000 safe miles.

RIDER or CO-RIDER must have current CPR and First Aid card.

Must meet certifications and specifications of all previous levels.

$35.00 for each participant and $10.00 yearly renewal due on January 1st.

Recieve two special triangular patches with dark blue border and your individual Master Number embroidered on them.
