H.P. Lovecraft and Edgar Allan Poe
were the first portraits in this portrait series to be done,
mostly as experiments to see how the effect looked. The finished
results were satisfactory enough that I was encouraged to approach
the other authors in the series about doing their portraits.
Poe's portrait contains two short stories
THE MASQUE OF THE RED DEATHand THE OVAL PORTRAIT.
Image size of the print is 16 X 22 inches and is printed in
turquoise and black.
The Poe prints are not limited in number, and try as
I might I was unable to get Poe to sign his prints. But they are signed by me.
