The Whistle Stop Lodge is Located outside Bryson City, North Carolina. 

  The Whistle Stop is a 3000 sq ft cabin nestled in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina.  Construction was finished in the winter of 2001/2002 on this beautiful Smoky Mountain retreat.  The lodge is centrally located between Cherokee, NC, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, TN.  The Whistle Stop Lodge takes it's name from the Smoky Mountain Scenic Railroad which runs just below the lodge. 

  Several major white water rafting facilities, Lake Fontana, Harrah's Cherokee Casino, The Biltmore Estate, The Smoky Mountains National Park and other tourism attractions are within easy driving distance.  The Lodge is minutes away from the Nantahala Outdoor Center, which hosts several major sporting events each year and "The Dragon's Tail" motorcycle road begins just west of the Lodge location.

  The cabin is equipped with a modern kitchen, 3 1/2 baths, 6 bedrooms, air conditioning, and a great room able to accommodate a very large group.  Total sleeping capacity is 26 occupants.  There are three bedrooms with one queen size bed each, one bedroom with two queen size beds, and the loft has three queen size beds and one single, and a small room with twin bunk beds.  Also, there are three very comfortable futons, which fold out to full sized beds.  The cabin is loaded with all the comforts of home including a 32" TV with satellite and DVD player.  Parking is available for up to 8 vehicles in the three parking areas around the cabin.  From the antique style Ben Franklin gas fireplace to the surrounding beauty, this is the perfect vacation spot.  

 The Whistle Stop Lodge is the largest private facility of it's type in the area and is ideally suited for vacations and getaways for the extended family, hunting groups, fishing parties, or the whole wedding party or family reunion.

The Lodge is available for occupancy year round to accommodate your favorite activity's season.
