The Whistle Stop Lodge is centrally located between several major attractions, the closest being the beautiful Lake Fontana.  The Cherokee Reservation is only minutes away with many activities to learn about Native American culture.  The Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area is only one hour and fifteen minutes away.  There are five different white water rafting rivers to choose from and the Brevard area is famous for its many waterfalls.  There are several shopping paradises near the Whistle Stop Lodge, ranging from the large factory outlet malls in Pigeon Forge to the quaint shops and boutiques in Waynesville. 

 

The lodge is located off 28 North just off 74 West in western North Carolina.
